There is currently no standard regarding academic preparation. Anyone can call himself or herself a herbalist, an holistic practitioner, or a natural healer whether or not he or she knows squat about matters of health. There are books that pretend to educate people in the area of alternative medicine. All alternative medicine practitioners are quacks – but it’s a safer way to rip people off than robbing banks!
there are certified schools that will grant a degree in the field desired. I’m currently with Clayton College of Natural Health. I wish I would have done my homework and sought out other schools.
Look into colonic irrigation, this cures allot of ailments.
