    The US and almost every other country. You do not have to be a medical doctor to go to acupuncture school and be licensed.

    Depending on the State you want to get the license in you may or may not even have to have a college degree.

    I do know in the State of Texas you need a 4 year degree and then 2 years at Acupuncture school. My husband was going to do this a few years ago.

    You don’t have to be an MD,here in the states. Acupuncture is a licensed alternative medical art,each state has it’s own regulations.
